1. That young lady breaking down in tears. It saddens me. I’m saddened for all young people these days, because I myself know that pain. But let me explain some things to them.

   We are headed for a time when marriage and finding a mate will not just be difficult, it will be forbidden (1 Tim. 4:1-3). The closer we get to that time, the harder it will be.

   Remember, our life is not our own. We’ve got to put the Lord first. Always and in all things. And the sad truth is that you may never end up married.

   I went through a similar sort of crisis in my thirties. I was terrified that I’d never find a wife and would end up alone. It led me to cross some lines, to do things that I shouldn’t have done. And it was that straying that compelled me to say “i’m done” myself. The Lord convicted me. I knew I was headed in the wrong direction. And at that point called it quits for good. I too was ashamed and embarrassed. Well, now I’m much older, and alone. Rejected even by some in my own family. My sister and her children, also because of the feminist/wokist mess. They accused me of being racist, and did some terrible things to me, treating me worse than a dog. And they will never repent. But I can tell you that ending up alone is not the end of the world.

   It’s the sad truth that you may indeed end up alone. Some of us are just not meant to marry, particularly the closer we are to the latter times, and the more people are as described in 2 Tim. 3. Young people, you’ve got to face it. We are not promised a great life. We’re not promised the life we want. What’s important is hearing the words “well done my good and faithful servant”.

   If you put too much emphasis on it, then it will never happen. The young lady needs to stop and consider how much she herself is putting herself first, and may not truly care. Ask herself, does she care more about what she wants and her vision for the future, than she cares about her prospective husband she’s dating.

   One thing is absolutely certain in this life. It absolutely will not turn out the way you want. And that is true for everyone on this planet. Male, female, rich, poor, … it’s true for everyone. You’ve got to realize it, deal with it, accept it, and learn to be content with what the Lord has given, and the life He’s given you now. That’s called “growing up”. Quit acting like your life is miserable and you’re defeated, whining and crying and bellyaching because life isn’t turning out the way you wanted. It is a terrible witness. Terrible. Be grateful to the Lord, and be content with what He has given you. Until you can do so, you yourself are not ready to marry and raise children.
